Septic Installation

Tim Postell Excavation is a Georgia Department of Health certified septic system installer. We offer both traditional cast concrete and modern poly septic tanks with plastic chamber leach fill systems.

Site Clearing

Tim Postell Excavation clears land for new homesites, driveways, and performs basement excavation and building site prep. We also offer drainage correction and culvert installation.

Mulch and Gravel

Tim Postell Excavation offers delivery of mulch, bark, and gravel with a compact four-wheel drive dump truck able to fit into places larger trucks can’t.

Is my job too small?

No! We believe there is no job too small. There may be a minimum charge for moving equipment, but we are happy to perform services that may only take a few hours to complete.

How do I get a septic permit?

The first step is contacting the local environmental health office. Soil analysis is usually required along with fees and then a site visit by the local health department to ensure the site is adequate and that setbacks are maintained. Once approved, an installation permit is issued and work can begin. The septic system is inspected again prior to being covered.

What are your prices?

Pricing is unique to each site depending on a myriad of factors including location, terrain, and access. Our basic rates are $850 per day for the 13,000 lb. mini-excavator and $600 per day for the skid steer. For jobs requiring both machines, the combined total is $1,200 per day.

What other services do you offer?

Tim Postell Excavation offers water and power line trenching, French drains, debris removal, general property cleanup, mobile home removal, razing old structures, parking area expansion, and light landscaping services.

How can I pay my bill?

We accept payment via cash, personal check, or credit cards through PayPal and Venmo (a 3% surcharge applies).
